An elf girl has a magical ability to make anyone extremely horny, a perfect distraction for a treasure hunting assassin. Written by Chloe of Go Get a Roomie. Lots of girl-on-girl action.
Since we can’t advertise by conventional means (loooong story), we rely very much on word of mouth to spread the news about our comics. We really appreciate you following us, and it would be really awesome if you could reblog us and help us take over the world with porno comics. As president of the world, we promise to have a porn shop on every corner, and free kittens for everyone.
So tell your friends. Tell your relatives. Tell strangers on the street. Filthy Figments is good clean incredibly dirty fun.
It is definitely a milestone for FilthyFigments.com (site NSFW). Just slightly after its one year anniversary, the all female creator erotic comics site has passed the 1000 page mark.
So that means if you join, you get over 1,000 pages of beautiful smut.
Also, two pages of Amnesia (M/M), three pages of Thorn Prince (M/F), and three pages of Horny for You (F/F) posted to the site.
We’re gonna rev this blog up a bit more from now on! Gonna fire it up like the best vibrator, a magic one that never runs out of batteries and can go up to 11.
If you are feeling disgruntled with the state of women’s porn, there are three positive things you can do about it:
1. Make a request or a suggestion to the people who are making porn. Everyone loves feedback because it’s really useful in helping to refine what’s being offered. But for goodness sake, be nice about it. Catch flies with honey. Remember, pornographers are people too. And chances are they are just doing their best, trying to be creative and make a living, following their own vision.
2. Be prepared to back up your request with cash. By that I mean, make it apparent that you are willing to support the porn companies/sites/filmmakers and buy their product. Making good porn usually requires money, especially if you want good production values and also want to pay your actors/models properly. Ive written more on this in the post Why you shouldn’t assume all porn should be free.
This also applies to links. If you like a pic and put it on your blog, make sure you acknowledge the source. And obviously don’t just steal other people’s pics and repost them as your own. Be fair in your dealings with porn if you want it to be fair to you.
3. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, consider making it yourself. Take your own photos. Shoot your own movies. Write erotic fiction. Create your own vision of what is sexy and put it out there. What’s stopping you? The internet is there for the taking, self publishing is easy, erotic creativity is only constrained by your imagination. Hell, you can even make money with it, either through direct sales or through advertising and affiliate marketing.
Don’t dream it, be it.

It’s very inspiring. Specially the last point. Even if, by the time I get enough guts/time/energy, I might end up representing SENIOR fat WOC. Nothing wrong with that, not at all. That’s also a very necessary niche to be filled. But I don’t plan on waiting until I become abuelita cachonda to try to make an effort.
Tho that would be fucking awesome. ABUELITA CACHONDA.

This is a story from last year’s Otakon convention. It was something that made me realize that what we’re doing with Filthy Figments is making even a little bit of a difference to those women still afraid to “come out of the closet” as adult comic artists.
There was a young lady who was looking over my booth and took note of my zipped up/protected adult prints folder. After showing her ID, she looked over the work. She was obviously feeling inspired to share and after some nervousness on her part, broke open her folder with her own adult illustrations. While her skill level was still some years away from being polished professional works, it was obviously something she enjoyed drawing. Joy in what you do is important. When I told her it was good work and that she should continue practicing, you could almost FEEL the relief and acceptance glowing in her. She looking up at me with a shaky voice and expressed her gratitude. It was then that she confessed that others online with whom she shared her works had told her she was disgusting and should KILL herself for drawing such things.
I was horrified by this. The fact that anyone would say these awful things to her is just terrible. This young woman had been literally scared and ashamed of herself. After some more talk between the two of us we were both reading to go our ways. As she was leaving she thanked me for doing what I do. She said it was encouraging to see other women drawing adult comics and art. She said she wouldn’t be as afraid to keep drawing what she liked. That encounter has stuck with me for many months now and I still think of it when I receive new submissions at Filthy Figments. Women coming together to draw erotic comics, not being afraid or bullied, but actually being supported by the comic community. That always brings a smile to my face.
Some of the ladies of FilthyFigments.com will be doing a live interview Sunday, January 23rd at NOON on The WebComic Beacon. It should be a lot of laughs.
EDIT: In case you missed the interview, here’s the link where you can download the episode! Episode 158
I talked about this earlier this month in my LJ, but I think it fits well here as food for thought. I don’t hate religion, but there are seldom times I understand the things that people do in the name of it.
As an example, I had received an email informing me that a link trade with my webcomic had been revoked due to it’s inclusion of lesbian characters for religious reasons. I suppose I should note that the characters had been their long before the link trade was even agreed to in the first place. They had thought long and hard about this and could no longer support my site by linking to it from their webcomic site. They just loved Jesus Christ too much. To each their own. However…
I have to say that I am glad my beliefs don’t force me to hate people. I’m sorry, but I’ll never understand how you have to HATE/discriminate in order to be a “good person” for your religion. Yeah, that might come off as offensive, but Red String has always been about LOVE. Love is good no matter what. If two people love each other, if people can learn to LOVE instead of hate and discriminate against other people the world would be a happier place.
